Technical update Digicon products

Dear partners,

Our supplier, Digicon, constantly monitors the market for the latest trends, developments and opportunities. This is done, among other things, by their team that actively listens to partners, end users and trade fairs.

We would like to inform you that the dTower and dGateSW orders will be delivered with doors made of tempered glass instead of the current polycarbonate material. The current stock will be sold off first and the new stock will come with this change. There are a number of reasons for this, some of which we would like to share with you below:

– Harmonise the Digicon pass-through locker product line with this material – currently, all products with tall doors are supplied with tempered glass;
– Improving the aesthetics of the product because glass is a harder material that is less prone to scratching;
– Easy maintenance because glass can be cleaned with a variety of cleaning products, unlike polycarbonate which requires special care.

Additional notes:
– The dFlow will still retain its polycarbonate doors because of its operational mode;
– There are no price changes as a result of this product update. However, if a customer wants polycarbonate doors for the dTower and dGateSW after 1 October, this will be considered a special order and charged as such.
